North East Ride Hexham to NSEC, Cramlington to Great North Children's Hospital

08.10.22

Following the success of Ride for Their Lives 2021, from London to Glasgow ahead of COP26, which had a well supported stop in Newcastle en route, the plan this year, RFTL 2022, is to do a ride linking hospitals at Hexham and Cramlington (NSECH) with the Great North Childrens Hospital, Newcastle on Saturday 8 October 2022. Ride For Their Lives North East 2022

Come and cycle with us! Following the success of Ride for Their Lives 2021, a marathon ride of paediatric healthcare professionals from London to Glasgow ahead ofCOP26, RFTL 2022 will be shorter rides linking healthcare centres.

Beyond “raising awareness”, the rides will promote conversations and motivate action to address the health impacts of climate change and air pollution, particularly to protect children.

Ride for their Lives (RFTL) 2022 is a global campaign by paediatric and other healthcare providers to link with and inspire the healthcare community to protect children and patients from the disastrous effects of the climate crisis.
