Job brief meeting - 30 minutes

The process begins with a remote job brief meeting using Google Meet:

  • You’ll meet your dedicated project manager
  • Confirm the details of the project
  • Generate a job brief.

Contract and assets

After the meeting, we’ll send an email with essential information and next steps:

  • A checklist of what we need from you - your branding, names of participants as they should appear on screen, and contact details
  • A link to your secure cloud storage folder on our Google Drive. This will act as the long term archive of project materials and central exchange of supporting files / information
  • Direct links to the subfolders where you can upload branding, plus access final cuts and raw footage for future use
  • Your contract and job brief for review.

How your storage folder will look:

Contract and invoicing terms

We send a contracting email with:

  • Your engagement contract
  • Initial invoice for your approval.

Our payment terms are 50% up front and 50% 14 days after delivery.

Planning

Before the event, you’ll need to confirm:

  • Who we’re interviewing, and when
  • The themes you would like us to address and the questions you would like us to ask.

Supported editorial and Enhanced interview

  • Your project manager will be available for an additional 1-hour meeting to discuss messaging and approach.

Filming

  • Our camera team will come to you for a single 40 minute recording session
  • The team consists of 2 camera operators supported by a producer
  • The minimum camera kit includes 1 interview light, 2 radio microphones, 2 tripods, 2 4k broadcast video cameras, prime and zoom lenses
  • We film the interviews with both cameras, either using tripods or hand held
  • Once filming finishes, our on-location producer will upload the footage to your secure cloud storage for our remote editors to begin work.

Post-production

As soon as the video files have uploaded, your project manager will pass them to our team of editors, who will:

  • Enhance the audio
  • Grade the image
  • Make the first cuts, using your branding, our own general conference b-roll and optional b-roll of your speaker / event.

Enhanced interview

Transcript review:

  • Full editorial control for your team
  • Transcripts and a guide to making selects
  • Once selects are made, our editors will be waiting to begin the first cut.
